Do you want to know more about Oswestry? Hear about our history as you wander around the town with one of our local guides, listen to myths and legends as you stroll through the parks and alleyways of our border market town – then come on a guided tour.
We have regular tours of Oswestry Town every Saturday at 11am from Easter to the end of September. These start from the Visitor & Exhibition Centre and last for about 1 hour. They are suitable for all. There is no need to book, just turn up at the Centre. The cost of the tour is £2 for adults and 50p for children.
Oswestry Borderland Tourism also offer tours for groups. These tours are on offer to any group who wish to pre-book a tour. We can even customise a tour for your interests. The cost of these tours is £3 per person.

There are two self guided walking tours of Oswestry. One is a the Town trail and the other the Wilfred Owen Trail telling something of the early life of Wilfred Owen, the war poet, who lived in Oswestry until he was 4. Both are available in the Visitor & Exhibition Centre at 50p each.
