    A nationwide initiative, launched in 2007 to encourage towns and villages to be ‘welcoming to walkers’.     2017 Events:

    Tuesday 2nd May – Bluebell Walk

    Come and find a carpet of bluebells whilst going up Rodney’s pillar. Meet 10am in the car park just along from the pub SY5 9AU. Walk will last about 3 hours and is quite steep at the top.

    Saturday June 10th – Oswestry Round

    Opportunity to complete a 33 mile challenge walk around Oswestry. For more information please visit www.oswestryround.co.uk

    Sunday September 24th – Oswestry Community Games

    Leave Cae Glas Park 11am – 3.00 approx. This walk will do the south west part of Oswald’s Trail. Please wear suitable clothing, plus food and drink as there are no facilities on this walk.
