Llanymynech limeworks and the Hoffman Kiln

The project to create an 'open air museum' of The Llanymynech lime Works has come a huge step nearer with the news that the project has been granted almost £500,000 lottery funding.

The site of the lime works, the Hoffman Kiln and the canal provides a unique visitor experience already and this will be enhanced hugely with the lottery funding.

To take a look as the work develops, park in the public car park behind The Dolphin Pub and walk back across the main road to the canalside.
