ESCAPE 2008 LAUNCHED
 

Costumed re-enactors at the historic site of Whittington Castle was the backdrop to the launch of Oswestry Borderland Tourism's 2008 brochure. With a foreward by TV Presenter and Broadcaster John Cushnie, the colourful brochure is a mine of information about our town and region, with sections on history, heritage and the many attractions and beautiful countryside visitors can enjoy.

The ' Playing on the Edge ' section highlights the wide choice of activities on offer, ranging from 'sedate to surreal; elegant or extreme'. Also mentioned are the opportunities 'On our doorstep', thus making Oswestry and the borderlands an excellent base for further exploration. Of course, visitors also require excellent accommodation, so the latter sections feature hotels, bed and breakfast and self catering establishments, each one independently inspected to ensure the highest standards are met.

Accommodation providers are also members of Oswestry Borderland Tourism so they have a common aim to promote our area and ensure quality standards are maintained.
