All the above are situated on the BaileyHead at the top of Bailey Street next to the beautiful Guildhall and Castle Bank
A historic market was granted a charter in 1190, and it was the place where farmers would take their goods to sell. Today a successful farmers market still exists on the Bailey Head, held on the last Friday of every month selling quality local cheese, meat, cakes and jams etc.
Each week there is a Wednesday and Saturday outdoor market with many stalls to explore and bargains to find and Oswestry also boasts a large indoor market held on Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays and which sells a wide assortment of interesting wares. Why not have a coffee in the market hall to rest from exploring the great town which is Oswestry.
