Find out about the difference between the rich and poor in Tudor times. Follow Mistress Duncan a poor market trader on her way to market or Mistress Ellis Housekeeper to the Governor of the town on her daily tasks.
Tour lasts about 1 hour and then time for a classroom session where the children get to test what they have picked up on the tour. They get to see and feel Tudor objects. Suitable for Key Stage 2 and Teachers pack available.

Oswestry Borderland Tourism is pleased to announce new and exciting costumed tours for the town. These tours are on offer to any group who wish to pre-book a tour. Oswestry Costumed Tours now have 2 new tours to offer visitors to the town.
Join a 1940s tour of the town. See what it would have been like to patrol the town as an Air Raid Warden. See a weeks ration on a plate and learn how to put on a gas mask correctly. Or hear how the town dealt with the influx of evacuees. But be on your guard as you patrol as it is rumoured that the town is being flooded with Black Market goods!
