Oswestry Ghost Tours

Once again the streets of Oswestry will take on an eerie and sinister aspect, as Oswestry Costumed Guides become Ghost Hunters who prowl the streets. Join them as they lead you on a voyage of discovery around the town that you think you all know. Linger in dark alleyways and learn the fascinating history of some of the town’s most prominent buildings, as well of the stories behind some of the towns many reported paranormal occurrences.

“Our brand new tours start as Oswestry Visitor and Exhibition Centre, the former Grammar school dating back to 1407, a very eerie and scary start to the tours. During our tours we will encounter characters who will tell us tales and who just might actually be the Ghosts we are looking for! Explains Sue Ellis organiser of these tours.

“Please be prepared to go down dark alleyways – it would help if you brought a torch. These tours are suitable for children and start at 7.pm and last approximately an hour. Cost £3.50 for adults and £2 for children.”

Tours take place during October.
