ARTS ALIVE
Vamos Theatre
Much Ado About Wenlock. With the approaching London Olympics 2012, Vamos Theatre is set to explore it’s unlikely UK roots from the small Shropshire town. Much Ado About Wenlock will be full mask production, with original music, a combination of physicality, theatricality and dance choreography. The play features characters drawn from the local Victorian community; the butcher’s wife will be practicing her hammer throws with un-plucked pheasants; the postman using his letters and parcels to perfect his discus; the local school children, under the stern eye of the strict school mistress and her authoritarian hand, will do their very best! Heart warming humour and history. 7pm. Adult £7.50, Child £4, Family £20.
