Welshpool
18 miles from Oswestry Centre
This unique site was fully opened in March 2006. Originally the ‘Home Farm’ for Powis Castle it is set in the Severn Valley just south of Welshpool with wonderful views on either side. Developed on the old farm site great care has been taken to keep the majority of original buildings and they have been sensitively restored with many of the unusual features retained. Documentary evidence tells us there was a house on the land as early as 1720 with the first farm building built circa 1814. There are also beautiful examples of Victorian architecture.
Wow, Amazing, Wonderful, Fantastic, Unique, Friendly, Helpful – just a few of the comments from visitors during the past twelve months. At Coed-y-Dinas we pride themselves on welcoming people from all over the country.
